I got to National Revolutionary Martyrs’ shrine (圓山忠烈祠) 10 minutes before the Changing of the Guard ceremony. There weren’t still many people.
Guards in white uniform never move while guarding for one hour. The man in the black uniform looks after the guards. For example, drying the sweat, keeping them neat and so on. Uniform differ from the belongs. White uniforms is navy, blue is air force and green is army. So, they belong to the navy.
National revolutionary Martyrs’ shrine is dedicated to the war dead of the Republic of China. I know about 330,000 Chinese persons were killed in total.

Two guards. Of course, they never move.
Some large buses for group tourists came around 5 minutes before the ceremony and many people gathered close to the gate. So, I went to there, too. It was rainy day (not heavy rainfall), so there weren’t many people all the same.
The ceremony started in sharp ! Next five guards appeared and went toward the main shrine.
Everyone followed the guards 🙂
They went up. Many people forestalled the guards and took the photo.
Finally, they got to in front of the shrine. (Their marching is very slow)
Then two guards changed. Finally two fixed guards for one hour move !
Last acting at the shrine.
Next guards. Once they stand on the box, they can’t move for one hour. So, the man in the black uniform tidy the two guards up.
After that, five guards went toward the gate and changed two guards as well as the main shrine. It is held every hour on the hour (last is 4:40 p.m.) except March 29th, September 3rd and some days that have bad weather everyday.
After that I tried to go to Longshan temple by bus because Dazhistation is far from the shrine, but I had no idea which bus take me to Longshan temple. So, I gave up going to there by bus and I went back to Dazhi station.
