Cheese omelet from Pastry Snaffle’s is one of my favorite sweets. However, I realized I didn’t know much about their other products.
They offer several flavors of their signature “Catch Cake,” including the famous cheese omelet. Although many of these flavors seem tempting, I wasn’t a fan of the chocolate flavor I tried before. Since they usually sell Catch Cakes in sets of at least four, it has been difficult for me to explore new flavors.
But then I heard that the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse branch has a standing area where you can enjoy one Catch Cake with a small cup of coffee for just \200!
Here it is — Pastry Snaffle’s Catch Cake Bar at the Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse!
The store is quite spacious. On the left is the shop area, and on the right is a café. In the middle, you’ll find the Catch Cake Bar.

At the bar, you can pick one flavor, pay 200 yen at the counter, and enjoy your cake with a small cup of coffee. If you visit with friends, the staff can cut the cake into smaller pieces for sharing. The coffee served here is from KEY COFFEE—a lightly acidic blend that pairs perfectly with the cake.
That day, they had seven flavors available, including the classic cheese omelet.
They don’t prepare spoon and falk to eat catch cake. They stick base card to cake and we eat cake with the card. They show how to eat.
I asked the staff for a recommendation since I had only tried the cheese omelet before. They suggested the Tiramisu flavor, which turned out to be delightful!
It contains mascarpone cheese and has a rich, flavorful profile without being bitter.
The next day, I returned to try the Coconut flavor. If you love both cheese omelet and coconut, you’ll enjoy this one. Its coconut flavor is mild and not overpowering, making it an excellent choice.
For those visiting Hakodate, stopping by the Catch Cake Bar is a must, especially if you’re already a fan of Pastry Snaffle’s famous cheese omelet.
