Closed – [Tokyo] Baked sweets and tea at cafe Cura in Kyodo

Tokyo

The wind always blows hard this spring. I wanted to spend time at cafe somewhere after lunch at Kyodo. My friend asked to our friend who like cafe on the phone and he told us about cafe Cura. So, we visited there.

He also said their baked sweets are delicious.

We were three and shared those three baked sweets. White one is Hashikko cookie (はしっこクッキー, 300 yen). Hashikko means “piece”. Those are pieces of tartlet dough. Those are something like crusts.

Brown one is shio caramel (塩キャラメル, 250 yen). Salty caramel cake. And Gateaux sel (ガトーセル, 280 yen). Gateaux sel means “salt sweets” in French. But both wasn’t salty at all. It was not too sweet. Delicous.

“Hashikko cookie” was best for me because it was not too sweet.

My tea was Nirgiri (ニルギリ, 700 yen).

Though it is a nice cafe that have good atmosphere, I heard this cafe will relocate Kanagawa, next to Tokyo. Kyodo is far from Chiba, AND, the shop move further away 🙁
