Moved – [Tsukiji Market] Boiled fish breakfast at Yonehana (米花)

Tokyo

I don’t know how many times I visited Yonehana (米花) in Tsukiji Market to have breakfast. I entirely got used to double main dish at Yonehana.

This time, too. That day’s chef’s choice. Boiled sable fish with soy sauce and boiled squid and daikon radish. Look at the squid ! Huge…. Each dishes were boiled with soy sauce. Especially sable fish seems to have strong tastes. Well, as you see. But it go with rice very well 🙂

I was full, but still I ordered a yakitori. I can’t go out without eating yakitori. This is chicken’s dark meat.

If you stay in Japan for a long time for work or study, I recommend you go to Yonehana frequently and after a while the staff remember you, he recommend you have chef’s choice. Chef’s choice is not good for people who rarely come to Tsukiji because it is not gaudy and they don’t serve chef’s choice to tourists. It looks ordinary breakfast (though sometime its size is extraordinary…). But their nutritious breakfast will be sure to help your life in Japan 🙂
