I knew Funabashi have so popular yakiniku restaurant named Shoutaian (将泰庵). And finally I went there with my friend the other day. My friend took reservation in advance. The restaurant don’t have much seats and several of groups came into the restaurant successively. So, we should take reservation in advance.
They serve yakiniku at lunchtime, too. But many guests ate hamburger steak that cost from 950 yen. Of course, we visited there to eat hamburger steak !
They have three sizes of hamburger steak. I ordered the smallest one. 200 g steak. Hamburger steak at lunchtime have soup, namul and rice. 200g steak is like a ball. Something cute 🙂
The steak have plenty of gravy in it. Soooo juicy. The sauce is seasoned with soy sauce and it had much grated daikon radish on the hamburger steak. We don’t need knife. It can be cut with chopsticks with easily.
Namul was good.
My friend ordered 400g steak ! Gigantic ! Terrific gravy ! and more rare than my 200g steak ! I tasted it a bit. Very good !

I’ve had hamburger steak when I was in Japan, but never with wagyu. It sounds so delicious!
