Since I stayed in Saga without a meal plan, I wandered around the station in search of breakfast. That’s when I spotted Seattle’s Best Coffee inside the station! It’s one of my favorite café chains, but I don’t have one in my usual area… So, I didn’t hesitate to stop by. I heard there are many branches in Kyushu.

The café has a mix of two-person tables and counter seats. It has an L-shaped layout, and in the back right corner, there’s a cozy sofa area (so, of course, I grabbed a seat there). There are power outlets at your feet and free Wi-Fi, making it a convenient spot.

The morning menu is available until 11 AM, starting from just 400 yen, including a drink. The cheapest option is the Morning Dog—very affordable!

I wanted something satisfying but not too heavy… so I went with the Ham & Cheese. In this day and age, a breakfast under 500 yen is a blessing! The coffee was light and just right for the morning.

This is the Ham & Cheese sandwich. The bread looks like a bagel, but the texture is more like a croissant—light and flaky. Inside, there’s ham, cheese, tomato, and lettuce. The melted cheese was delicious! It was the perfect balance—not too heavy, not too light. Since it’s quite small, if you’re really hungry, you might need two!
