I went to Hajime Sengyoten (はじめ鮮魚店) to have lunch the day before yesterday after a long long absence. Summer has past and it got cooler. So I can go out at lunchtime with easily 🙂
I said before. I won’t be able to go to Tsukiji at lunchtime from next month, so I want to go there this month as much as I can. “Today’s menu” is this.
* Marinated horse mackerel bowl (真あじ漬け丼) 950 yen
* Returned bonito bowl (もどりかつお丼) 950 yen
* Leftover flesh on the spine of Pacific bluefin tuna bowl (生本まぐろ中落ち丼) 1000 yen
They serve lunch set to only 20 people in all. So whenever I go to the shop, I get out of the office at least 11:30 a.m. I take at least 15 minutes from the office. (Though I have only 60 minutes for lunchtime)
Though it was hard to decide between bonito and horse mackerel, but I ordered a returned bonito bowl. Each sashimi bowl have one small dish, pickles and miso soup.
So fatty bonito. Those meats were pink ! Someone may mistake that it is tuna from its brilliant color. I heard that Tsukiji Market don’t have much good seafoods in a few days because of last typhoon. Still they serve such a good bonito ! I was impressed !
Miso soup. The ingredient was shijimi clam. I like shijimi clam best as ingredients of miso soup.. Many people don’t eat those meat, but I pick and eat everything.
At first, I pick out of those meats from all shells and eat them at a stroke.
