I headed to Hajime Sengyoten (はじめ鮮魚店) in Tsukiji expecting that day’s sashimi bowl.

That day’s lunch was
* Wild Pacific bluefin tuna, bigfin reef squid and sea urchin (天然生まぐろ、あおりいか、生うに)
* First bonito, Spanish mackerel and salmon roe (初かつお、本さわら、いくら)
I hadn’t eaten Spanish mackerel at Hajime Sengyo-ten, so I tried to order it and I said to the chef.

I chose wild Pacific bluefin tuna, bigfin reef squid and sea urchin.

Squid is my delight.

And sea urchin.

It’s the perfect lunch except for the very hot rice cooking surface of sashimi 🙂
