Tsudanuma: Delicious Italian Lunch at Riku Chika (リクチカ) – Spaghetti & More

Chiba

Many residential buildings have been constructed around the Tsudanuma area in recent years, and many shops and restaurants have opened as well. While searching for some great places to eat, I discovered a new Italian restaurant called Riku Chika (リクチカ).

This area, which was once dull, is now thriving with new and interesting shops, including Riku Chika.

They serve both light set like spaghetti set and rich course having entree.
Because I slept until noon, we took light spaghetti set. It have bread, salad, spaghetti and drink. We can choose our spaghetti from some sauce.
Creamy sauce, tomato sauce, oil sauce and salted flavor and so on.

The restaurant offers both light sets like spaghetti meals and more elaborate courses with appetizers. Since I slept in until noon, we opted for a light spaghetti set. It includes bread, salad, spaghetti, and a drink. We can choose from a variety of sauces for the spaghetti, such as creamy sauce, tomato sauce, olive oil, and salted flavors.

Here’s the bread:

And the salad:

It’s been so long since I last visited an Italian restaurant, even though I cook spaghetti at home quite often.

The tomato sauce was made with mackerel and spinach:

The creamy sauce was absolutely delicious. I even spread it on the bread and ate it! I was full, but I heard you could get a second helping of bread for free—though I didn’t take up the offer.

For drinks, you can choose between coffee and tea. I went with tea.

I was very satisfied with the meal and would love to go back. Next time, I’d like to try their fresh spaghetti, which was sold out when we visited. The restaurant has become quite popular, so I’ll be sure to make a reservation next time!
