Saga Airport: Relax at “Saganogara” (さがのがら) Lounge with Free Drinks

Saga

I knew that Saga Airport had a lounge, so I planned to arrive early and relax. However, I found out that the bus from Saga Station to Saga Airport only runs according to the flight departure schedule! Even so, I arrived smoothly and was able to spend more than 20 minutes there. The lounge is called “Saganogara” (さがのがら). It is located outside the security area, so you can use it even upon arrival.

The name “Saganogara” (さがのがら) means “Saga’s patterns”. The lounge features traditional Saga designs. It’s a compact space, but the warmth of these patterns, the wallpaper, and the greenery scattered throughout made it feel cozy and inviting.

Most of the seats face this large window, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing view of the sky and trees.

The lounge offers a small selection of magazines and newspapers, along with free soft drinks. The soft drinks are available from a vending machine at no cost. Options include coffee, tea, cocoa, soft drinks, and onion soup.

There were also tea bags for brewing tea and juice options available.

The tables are conveniently placed beside each seat, making them perfect for enjoying a drink.

There are also private rooms available for a fee, which could be great for getting work done. Priority Pass only issued overseas can be available.
