Suddenly I felt like eating eel when I was about to walk through in front of Tomimatsu (鰻 登三松). So, I entered the restaurant.They are in the group of Noboritei in Ueno.
Menu. Though they are open on Saturdays, they offer valuable menu.They use large eel called “Ao unagi (青うなぎ)”.
I ordered Service set that is served on weekdays lunchtime only. It cost 1773 yen (tax exluded). It have unajyu (eel and rice), two small dishes, pickles and soup.
Though the amount of eel is not large, it’s fatty and delicious. And much sauce was soaked into the rice. So, the rice was enough good without eel.The rice was not too sweet. It’s my tastes. But many guests order normal unajyu. If you want eat much eel, normal unajyu is better all the same. But the service set was enough for me.
I also had lunch beer.
They sell bento (1200 yen-), too. Many people bought it. It’s yummy.
